Finding my niche in our new "simplified" life...

My husband and I have taken a huge step in to a so-called "simplified" life!

We have been in our new home (RV) for just over two weeks now and I think we are finally getting settled...Maverick (our four-legged kid), however is not adjusting very well at all!!! Even though we are in an RV...we are not going on the road...we are staying on my husbands parents property. In part to help them, but it is for our benefit also. When getting ready to move in we were a bit nervous about all of the things we had to sell/donate/trash...but it is amazing how much stuff you collect that you NEVER use. That being said...I am still shedding a few tears over my lack of craft space!

I have been so afraid of crafting because...honestly...how is it possible to not spread out and make a mess when the creative juices start flowing??? I am happy to say that I found some motivation today! After going through the Close To My Heart blog hop for the new Stamp of the Month and seeing so many awesome creations...I just HAD to break out the paper, stamps and ink...and so the mess begins...(I did clean it up already-this place is way to small for a big mess-no matter how much fun it was/is to make)

And here is my creation, it's kind of plain and simple but I love how it turned out (the lighting is horrible in here so the picture doesn't do it justice.) I used CTMH "Surf's Up" paper, Play Day stamp set and the May SOTM. I had to cut the pinwheel down some because it was way to big for the little girl. I also used some bling to dress it up a bit!

To add a little dimension, the card has a window cut out so the sun rays are on the inside.
